About the Client
Our client operates the main Supermarket in Coral Bay located 1200 Kms north of Perth in Western Australia. Coral Bay is part of the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef and is a popular tourist location. Due to an increase in visitors to Coral Bay our client requires additional staff to meet the increase in demand.

About the Role
The work offers a variety of standard Supermarket tasks where the successful applicants may work one or several of the following.

• Check Out Operator
• Restocking Food & Items on shelves
• Cleaning
• Unloading Deliveries


Working Hours & Days
The Supermarket is open 7 days per week, where you will generally work 4 days per week between 8.5 to 10 hour days . Your days of work may vary from week from week where generally you will get 2 to 3 days off in a row however not guaranteed.


About You
We are seeking candidates that can commit to 3 to 5+ months of work. You do not necessarily require work experience at a Supermarket, however we are seeking candidates that possess the following skills or personality traits.

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Can communicate very well in English
• Has a positive attitude
• Is friendly and amicable (especially to customers)
• Has a hard work ethic

In past years our client has employed all types of people that includes;

• Australian Residents
• Back Packers
• Couples
• Small Groups

Accommodation
Our client is able to provide subsidized accommodation as there is no long term accommodation or rentals available for the general public. Our client usually has a variety of accommodation options from fully equipped Caravans through to 1 to 2 bedroom townhouses. Depending on the accommodation it can costs 220.00 to 420.00 per week. The costs can be shared between couples or friends.

Couples or Small Groups
Due to the lack of accommodation in Coral Bay, in the past our client has found that couples are a good fit for the work as the accommodation costs can be shared between 2 wage earners.

In addition, small groups of 2 to 3 people (usually Back packers) that all desire to work in the supermarket have also been a good fit, where our client can configure the accommodation to suit friends to share the accommodation.


About Coral Bay
Coral Bay is situated 1200 Kms North of Perth and is part of the World Heritage listed Ningaloo Reef. There are beautiful white sandy beaches and many activities to do, mainly involving reef activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, whale shark tours, fishing and manta ray tours.

Any successful applicants will be expected to make their own way to Coral Bay, ideally with their own transport at their own expense.


Pay Rates
Successful applicants will be paid 31.35 per hour (Flat Rate) on a casual basis, paid weekly. Working the standard 38 hour week, you would generally gross approximately 1200.00 per week or approx. 850.00 after tax.
