Prestige Renewables Cairns and we’re looking for internationally qualified electricians who want hands-on Trade Assistant experience in Australia for a minimum of 6 months.
If you’re an overseas electrician looking to build experience, gain exposure to Australian electrical practices, and work with a respected renewable energy company, this role is the perfect entry point.
About the Role
You will support our installation teams. This position is Trade Assistant level, not a licensed Electrician role, and does not require an Australian electrical licence. You will work under supervision and contribute to day-to-day tasks on-site.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assisting with solar and battery installations
Preparing materials, loading stock, and supporting site setup
Helping install inverters, panels and complete general labour tasks
Working closely with a skilled, supportive team
Who We’re Looking For
Internationally qualified electricians seeking Trade Assistant experience in Australia
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
Physically capable of general labour duties
Minimum 6-month availability
Driver’s licence preferred but not essential
