About the Role:

Skill Haus is currently seeking 30 motivated and reliable workers for the grape harvest season. This is a "Pick + Pack" role where you will be working directly in the field, reporting to the Harvest Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
---------------------------------
You will be responsible for picking grapes and packing them directly in the field. Your daily tasks will include:
- Cutting & Trimming: Cutting bunches from the vine at the stem and using snips to trim defective berries (e.g., rot, mould, split berries, or sunburn).
- Packing & Weighing: Assembling boxes with liners, packing grapes to specific weights (checking scales read 0.00kg before starting), and ensuring quality presentation.
- Labeling: Applying barcode stickers to packed boxes for traceability.
- Hygiene: Washing and sanitising picking snips daily.
- Logistics: Pushing picking trolleys through rows and placing packed boxes on liners for tractor collection.

Requirements

- PPE is Mandatory: You must possess and wear a Safety Vest and Enclosed Shoes at all times.
- Attention to Detail: You must be able to follow changing instructions regarding pack types, weights, and berry colour/size.
- Safety Focused: You must be aware of your surroundings (Cart Crew tractors passing) and must not wear earphones while working.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to work outdoors, push picking trolleys, and stand for long periods.
