If you are a chef / cook and have previous pub/restaurant experience, we would like to invite you to join our team.
The Desert Inn Hotel is located 1000km northeast of Perth in the Goldfields.
We are a remote country hotel with a bar, beer garden, takeaway fast-food shop and restaurant that is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
We are seeking someone to be our Chef. You will be running your own kitchen so you must be keen to put in the hours. You will be sole cook for lunch and have assistance from kitchenhands and wait staff for dinner.
Our reputation over many years is excellent meals and we don't want to lose that.. The kitchen can get extremely busy with up to 120 meals of a night service but averages around 50. And they are expected to be produced in a timely manner..
Duties will; include prepping food, weekly food ordering and the upkeep of the kitchen hygiene standards and being a chef, doing what chefs do.
Need a person who has good Personal hygiene standards, friendly, enthusiastic and enjoys working in a fun yet professional environment.
