Working With Dogs And Puppies - Live In Position - Work Exchange Then Full-time Paid Position Season

Live in job for a friendly and capable woman on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria!

I’m an ethical poodle cross breeder with an established, reputable home based breeding business in Mornington 3931 and I really need some help with my breeding program from January to March 2026

This is a live-in position where you'll be sharing the home with two other friendly women and helping with all the hands-on aspects of breeding and early puppy-raising from whelping until the puppies are 8-9 weeks of age and ready to go to their new homes.

It's a bright and creative home near beautiful beaches and Mornington's main street and we have a lovely large fully furnished room available right now for work exchange of 12 hours per week plus 12 hours paid work, mostly gardening and pup care generally 4hrs per day 6 days a week, and their can be some flexibility in timing per day

Then for 1 week in early February it will be full-time looking after the puppies and their mums while I go interstate, then back to the other arrangement, which may include property maintenance and clutter clearing and can possibly continue until May 1st 2026

Experience in breeding, working with animals or a medical background is definitely a big plus, but I’m also happy to train the right person if you have a big heart, strong ethics, you're fit and healthy and you have a genuine love for dogs.
