Carer Needed For Gentle Elderly Gentleman In One Of The Best Areas Of Sydney. (Optional to live in, if needed)

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable carer to assist a gentle elderly gentleman in his 80s with mild dementia for 2 weeks. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in aged care and who possesses a kind and patient temperament.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care, including showering and dressing in the morning and evening before bed.
- Offer companionship and support, ensuring the gentleman’s well-being and comfort.
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping duties.
- Engage in light activities, such as going for short walks in the nearby park or putting a movie on for him, or assisting him with a puzzle.
- Ensure the gentleman is never left alone - most of the time, he is happy watching a film or having a rest, so he is very easy going.

Accommodation if required.

Accommodation in a well-appointed apartment in Rushcutters Bay for the duration of work, potentially until the end of the year. The home is conveniently located near parks, cafes, and public transport, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.
