Job Description
Season Duration:
Late February 2025 – May 2025 (approximately 9–12 weeks, weather dependent)
Roster:
Monday to Saturday
6:00am – 6:00pm
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Hours actively managed to remain below 48 hours per week
About the Role:
We are seeking up to 30 Level 3 Harvest Operators for the upcoming almond harvest.
Successful candidates will be engaged across core harvest machinery roles, including:
- Shaker operators
- Sweeper operators
- Pick-Up operators
- Bank-Out operators
This is a large-scale, commercial almond harvest operated under a structured and compliance-driven framework, with a strong focus on safe machine operation, fatigue management and consistency.
Operators may be rotated across machines where required to manage hours, fatigue and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating harvest machinery including shakers, sweepers, pick-up and bank-out equipment
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and reporting faults
- Operating machinery in a safe, controlled and mechanically sympathetic manner
- Maintaining clean and orderly work areas and equipment
- Working closely with harvest supervisors and field teams
- Complying with all WHS, fatigue-management and site procedures
Requirements:
- Previous almond harvest or agricultural machinery experience (essential)
- Ability to work long days in outdoor and dusty conditions
- Strong safety awareness and reliability
- Valid Australian or international driver licence
- Capacity to commit for the full harvest period

- All work is paid strictly in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020
- Working hours are actively monitored to prevent excessive overtime
