A warm and friendly family of five in leafy Mount Gravatt is looking for a caring, organised Au Pair to join their home! The family has three boys - ages 5, 2, and a 6-week-old baby - plus a very cuddly dachshund. Care is primarily for the two older boys, who are with the family every second week.

This schedule means your weeks will feel balanced and varied:

👦 Week A – “Kids Week” (50% schedule)

The two older boys are home. Your focus is on childcare, supporting morning and afternoon routines, playtime, outings, helping with meals, and keeping shared spaces tidy.

🏡 Week B – “Quiet Week” (no older children at home)

No childcare is required except the occasional helping hand with the baby if Mum needs an extra moment. Your focus is instead on light household support:
– tidying
– family laundry
– groceries
– basic meal prep
– dog care
This is a much calmer week with flexible rhythm and lighter responsibilities.

Overall, you’ll work approximately 30 hours per week, split between childcare (during Kids Week) and general household support (during Quiet Week).

The family lives in a spacious, modern four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. You’ll have your own private bedroom with a queen bed and share a bathroom with the boys (only during their bath time).

Mount Gravatt is a leafy, safe, and well-connected suburb:
– 15 minutes to Brisbane CBD
– 50 minutes to the Gold Coast
– 2 hours to the Sunshine Coast
– Walkable cafés, shops, parks, walking trails, and great public transport
