ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a passionate Wedding & Events Supervisor to lead the daily operations of Bimbadgen Palmers Lane Weddings & Events, delivering exceptional experiences for couples, guests, suppliers, and the F&B team. Drive strong leadership, and actively improve venue performance to achieve targets
Key Responsibilities
• Adopt the venue standard operating procedures and outlet processes to increase efficiency, maintain and continually improve customer service standards.
• Assist to recruit, train, develop and mentor the team to deliver a premium experience for guests, and escalate any issues to the Manager for assistance.
• Effectively conduct shifts to ensure operational requirements are executed in line with customer requirements, including set up, day/mid shifts as well as event days/weddings.
• Ensure the venue is always well presented in line with the premium Bimbadgen brand (including equipment, vehicles, storage areas etc.) and report any issues for rectification.
• Financial and other reporting required for event days/weddings
ABOUT YOU
• Prior experience in a similar role within hospitality and weddings & events
• Highly motivated, organised, strong attention to detail with ability to maintain service standards and work well under pressure.
• Actively supports teamwork and collaboration. Values diversity, respects others needs and interests, and places trust in colleagues within and across the business.
• Enables effective communication across the business by encouraging constructive and open feedback.
• Understands the business environment (internally and externally) to be able to plan for and communicate new ideas and ways of working.
