The Venue:
Located in the town of Adaminaby, the Snow Goose Hotel offers accommodation in Hotel and Motel styles, full bottle shop, bar, family friendly bistro and gaming room (TAB, Keno and Poker Machines).
Our location offers the best of all worlds, local ski resorts a short drive, lakes and streams for fishing, a short drive to Canberra or the coast and the Snowy 2.0 project on our doorstep.
The Snow Goose Hotel is the meeting place for locals, tourists, and contractors. Here you will experience country charm with a smile and a good hearty meal that all enjoy.
The Bar Manager will be responsible for:
• Managing a small team of staff
• Stock control
• Supervising/training employees
• General cleanliness of the work area
• Assist management with the development of beverage offerings
• Deliveries
• Keg room operations
• Procedural opening and closing of venue
Experience Required:
• 2 years supervising experience working in a fast-paced bar is essential
• RSA and RCG qualifications
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Bar, Restaurant and Functions experience
• Gaming, TAB and Keno experience preferred
• Desire to provide great customer service, with a positive attitude
• Time management skills
• Ability to make clear and consistent decisions in any situation
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Knowledge of bar operations and associated legislation
Shared staff accomodation if applicant chooses to relocate.
