We are a leading restoration company specialising in fire, flood, mould, and other related insurance claims. About the Role:
As a Restoration Technician, you will be involved in various restoration projects across QLD ( Brisbane area ). This is a permanent full-time position (6-month probation) with 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. You'll report to the QLD Operations Manager and work alongside experienced technicians. Role has the opportunity to grow into a more senior position as we expand within the state.

Key Responsibilities:
- Water/mould restoration (drying, remediation, strip-outs)
- Fire restoration (cleaning, contents disposal)
- Contents handling (assessment, remediation, inventory)
- Maintaining vehicles, equipment, and consumables.
- Preparing detailed reports, including damage assessments and cost projections
- Potential for regional and interstate travel during catastrophic events
- Potential for after-hours and weekend work (with applicable rates)

Essential Requirements:
- Construction Induction Safety Certificate ( White Card )
- Current and valid driver’s license ( manual preferred )
- A willingness to learn – no experience necessary
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work on-call/after-hours on a roster basis
- Electronic reporting skills

Desirable:
- Valid Police Check
- IICRC accreditations (Water/Mould/Fire)
- Background/knowledge in building and contents restoration or cleaning/carpet cleaning
- Experience driving a truck
- Working with Children Check
