Opportunity
We are seeking a Piggery Attendants (Farm Hands) to join our operations near Bendigo & Shepparton, VIC. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys practical work, working with animals and being part of a farm team.
Whether you bring previous piggery or livestock experience, are new to agriculture, or are a backpacker looking for reliable farm work, full training and support will be provided. The role offers stable work, structured systems and the opportunity to develop skills in a commercial piggery environment.
About the Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
Daily care and observation of livestock to support health and wellbeing
Feeding, cleaning and general husbandry tasks
Assisting with on-farm operations in line with production requirements
Maintain hygiene, biosecurity and animal welfare standards
Operating basic farm equipment and completing routine tasks
Working safely and following farm procedures at all times
About You
You will bring:
Previous livestock or piggery experience (a bonus, but not essential)
Willingness to learn and follow established farm procedures
Reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude
Comfort working in a physical outdoor environment
Commitment to safety, animal welfare and biosecurity
