About The Role
• Leading bar service and ensuring exceptional guest experience
• Creating and preparing cocktails to a consistently high standard
• Curating and maintaining an exceptional beverage offering including wines, spirits, whiskies and gins
• Developing seasonal cocktails and signature drinks
• Managing bar stock, ordering and inventory control
• Maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the bar to premium standards
• Training and mentoring team members in service and beverage knowledge
• Delivering warm, engaging and knowledgeable guest interactions
• Supporting restaurant service where required
• Ensuring RSA compliance and responsible service practices
• Assisting with beverage experiences, tastings and special events

Who We’re Looking For
• An experienced bartender or mixologist with a genuine passion for cocktails and beverages
• Extremely motivated, efficient and detail-oriented
• Passionate about guest experience and presentation
• Outgoing, warm and bubbly with a natural ability to connect with people
• Creative with a strong sense of style and attention to detail
• Calm under pressure and able to manage a busy service
• A team player who enjoys contributing to a positive team culture
• Someone who takes pride in creating memorable guest moments

Qualifications & Experience
• Proven experience as a bartender, mixologist or bar manager
• Strong cocktail knowledge and preparation skills
• Good knowledge of wines and preferably whiskies and gins
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly desirable
• Experience in boutique or luxury hospitality
• Experience curating beverage lists or cocktail menus
• Knowledge of Tasmanian wines and spirits
• Experience with stock control and ordering
• The ability to work across other areas of the business
