Wonderful opportunity to join a friendly, welcoming family living in the vibrant inner-city suburb of Woollongabba, Brisbane! The family are seeking a warm, kind, and organised Au Pair to support their busy household and help care for their three boys.
A key highlight of this role is that the older children are in the home every second week, meaning there are built-in quieter weeks with significantly lighter childcare responsibilities — a great balance for an Au Pair wanting time to explore Brisbane, study, or recharge.
The family has three boys aged 5 years, 2 years, and 6 months. Care will be primarily focused on the older two children when they are in residence, with general household support across the week. They also have a friendly dachshund who is very much part of the family.
You’ll be supporting the family for approximately 35 hours per week, assisting with morning and afternoon routines, light household duties, grocery shopping, basic meal preparation for the children, and occasional help with the family dog. This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys variety, staying organised, and being part of a busy but supportive home.
The family live in a comfortable four-bedroom home in Woolloongabba, less than 10 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD. You’ll have your own private bedroom with a queen bed and wardrobe, and will share a bathroom with the children (used primarily during bath time, and only when the children are in residence).
Woolloongabba is a fantastic location for an Au Pair — safe, central, and well connected. You’ll be close to cafés, parks, shops, and public transport, with easy access to South Bank, Kangaroo Point, and the city.
