Job Description
Experience life on a working cattle station in outback Australia. No previous station experience needed. Just a good attitude, flexibility and a willingness to get stuck in! Covers 2nd and 3rd year visa extension.
We are located in north west Queensland about 400km from Townsville and are looking for a reliable all rounder to help out with homestead duties as well as other responsibilities.
This is a hands-on role where work varies day to day so applicants must be proactive and resilient.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Fencing and general maintenance
• Painting
• Cleaning
• Feeding homestead animals
• Gardening
• Watering systems
• Cooking
• Whipper snipping
• Yard work
• Helping keep the property organised and running smoothly
As well as anything else that is part of life on the land!
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has a strong work ethic
• Is physically fit and happy with manual work
• Capable of working in all conditions
• Is organised and tidy
• Communicates well and follows instructions
• Is comfortable living and working remotely
• Works well with others and is keen to learn
• Obtains a manual driver's license
