Chef de Partie – Ormeggio at The Spit
Ormeggio at The Spit, located on the beautiful d’Albora Marina in Mosman, is one of Australia’s leading fine-dining Italian seafood restaurants and cocktail bars. With over 15 years of excellence and proudly holding Two Chef Hats, Ormeggio is celebrated for its innovation, precision, and passion for contemporary Italian cuisine.
We are now seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
What We’re Looking For
Full Australian working rights (on-shore candidates ideal)
Fluent English communication skills
Diploma qualification and/or 1 to 3 years of experience
Strong knowledge of, and passion for, Italian cuisine
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality food preparation and presentation to Ormeggio’s standards
Support menu planning, recipe development, and tastings
Mentor and train junior team members
Uphold portion control and minimise waste
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety
Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and new dishes
