Fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming, experienced host family living in the beautiful harbourside suburb of Balmain, Sydney! This friendly family is looking for their next Au Pair to help care for their two children - a preschool-aged boy and a baby girl.
This is a wonderful “mother’s help” role, as Mum is currently at home and Dad works full time with long hours. You’ll be supporting the family with morning and afternoon routines, school drop-offs and pick-ups (all within walking distance - no driving required), and helping with evening routines and meal preparation.
The family live in a comfortable 3-bedroom townhouse with multiple bathrooms. You’ll enjoy your own private bedroom and will share a bathroom only with the children, making this a relaxed and practical living arrangement.
Balmain is one of Sydney’s most desirable inner-city suburbs, known for its village feel, waterfront parks and walks, fantastic cafés, pubs and restaurants, and close proximity to the CBD. The harbour is right on your doorstep, and you’ll be just a short walk away from some of Sydney’s most iconic views and New Year’s Eve fireworks.
The family are experienced hosts and currently have an Au Pair, so they understand how to create a supportive, respectful and welcoming home environment. They are hoping to welcome their next Au Pair for 6 months or longer.
