Sample Cutter – Immediate Start | Burleigh | 30–35/hr

Are you a backpacker or working-holiday traveller looking for short-term work?

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Sample Cutter to join an environmental testing lab based in Burleigh on a temporary basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for immediate work with consistent hours in a structured, team-focused environment.

About the Role:

The role involves preparing materials for testing by cutting them to specific sizes using set measurements and templates. Full training is provided, and the work is straightforward once you get the hang of it.

Key Responsibilities:

Measuring and marking materials before cutting

Cutting samples to required specifications

Labelling and organising samples for testing

Maintaining a clean and tidy work area (dusty environment at times)

Assisting the team with general lab tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Reliable and able to start ASAP

Comfortable in a hands-on, repetitive role

Good attention to detail

Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Previous warehouse, factory, or labouring experience is a bonus (not essential)

What’s on Offer:

Immediate start

Full-time hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

30–35 per hour (depending on experience)

Full PPE provided

Ongoing work for the next few weeks
