Clothing Photographer Wanted – Accommodation Exchange in Footscray Backpackers (female room), Melbourne

We are looking for a photographer to live with us and exchange photography work for free accommodation. The accommodation is in a female only share room, so the position is available for women.

Location: Footscray, Melbourne (5 km from the city)
Start: Now (a little flexible)
Stay: About 2 months (flexible)
Singles, couples or friends are welcome.

Work Details

• 9 hours per week (days are flexible)
• Photographing vintage clothing for a museum catalogue (simple, clear photos)
• You must be careful when handling delicate old garments
• Some photography experience is preferred
• All equipment is provided

What You Get
We are a small, long term backpackers (11 bedrooms).
• A shared bedroom of just four women in a large Victorian house
• All bills included (electricity, water, internet)
• Weekly cleaner for shared areas
• Hydronic heating (the house is very warm in winter)

The house has 11 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
It is similar to a backpackers, but people usually stay 3–6 months or longer.

The housemates are in their mid-20s. Most are on working holiday visas or studying.
It is a friendly and social house, but not a party house.

The photography work will be done in our archive warehouse, close to the house.
