Job Description

Vineyard Operators are responsible for performing safe vineyard operations including tractor and tote bin driving, observing and mechanical harvesting activities. Applicants should enjoy working outdoors and be available to work at our Paringa/Kangara or Kingston On Murray/Pyap sites.

Typical duties of this role include:

Mechanical harvesting and tractor operations, including tote bin driving.
Observation of harvesting activities.
Meeting our company Zero Loss guidelines.
Maintaining equipment to a high standard.
Other general responsibilities as required.
Requirements of the role:

Be available to work immediately
Experience driving vineyard equipment including harvesters, tractors (or similar).
Willing to undertake shift work, overtime and weekend work.
Ability to keep accurate records and demonstrate excellent time management.
Effective problem-solving skills and initiative.
Ability to follow safe work procedures and contribute to as required.
Positive and can-do attitude.

Working Holiday Makers and Accommodation details:

Please note that this position does count towards the specified subclass 417 work (88 farm days) for working Holiday Makers.
We do not provide accommodation and all applicants would need to be willing to relocate to the Riverland and have suitable transport to get to and from work (there is no public transport available in the area).
