The Role:

Verduno Australia is looking for an experienced butcher to join our team. The role is full-time basis based in Kingsgrove with opportunity to move to permanent full-time employment after the trial period.

Your Role:

- Portion control cutting beef/lamb/pork and poultry
- Stock and quality control
- Take responsibility for customers individual requirements and cut to order and specification
- Communicate with all stakeholder’s quality issues as they arise
- Assisting in factory cleaning and maintenance of all HACCP protocol

Your Skills:

- Experienced butcher required
- Commitment to ‘attention to detail’
- Deep understanding of preparation of all cuts of meat for restaurant requirements
- Understanding that every restaurant has different requirements and to deliver products tailored to their request
- Lots of energy (we are a young team of super enthusiastic people)
- Physically strong and fit
- Keen focus on safety and hygiene
