As a Delivery Driver at Verduno Australia, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of fresh and frozen meat products to our customers, including restaurants, wholesalers, and retail outlets. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe driving practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Delivery Operations
- Safely operate company delivery vehicles (manual/automatic) to deliver meat products on scheduled routes
- Ensure on-time deliveries and communicate delays or issues promptly
- Load and unload goods using manual handling techniques or equipment as required.
- Verify delivery notes, invoices, and customer signatures for each drop.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of delivery vehicle.
- Warehouse & Stock Handling
- Assist in picking and packing orders accurately according to run sheets.
- Handle fresh, frozen, and dry goods while following food safety and hygiene protocols.
- Check product temperature, weight, and condition when receiving or loading stock.
- Restock, rotate inventory, and ensure FIFO practices are followed.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, including cool rooms, dry storage, and dispatch area.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all HACCP, food safety, and OH&S standards.
- Report vehicle faults, damaged stock, or safety hazards immediately.
- Use PPE (gloves, jackets, boots) as required for cold-room work.
- Complete daily vehicle inspection checklists.

Skills & Requirements:

- Valid Australian driver’s licence (LR licence preferred but not essential).
- Experience in food delivery, meat industry, or warehouse operations (preferred).
- Ability to lift 15–25 kg and perform physical tasks.
- Good communication skills and professional customer service.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning shifts.
- Basic understanding of invoices, delivery dockets, and stock documentation.
