This family of four is seeking a caring, reliable, and positive au pair to join their household in beautiful Cooktown, Far North Queensland. They enjoy an outdoorsy lifestyle and are looking for someone who can provide steady support in their day to day routine.

As the family’s au pair, you will help around the home and care for the younger child while the parents are at work or attending appointments. On some mornings, one parent stays at school for a few hours to support their older child in the classroom, so during those times you will be responsible for caring for the younger child at home. Every Tuesday, the parent has council meetings, meaning you will spend most of the day with the younger child.

This is a six‑month au pair opportunity, and during your free time there is the option to complete your 88 days for a second‑year visa.

Accommodation is a private, fully self‑contained unit located close to the host family, offering comfort, privacy, and independence while still being part of their support network.
