Hi there,

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual or couple to join our team and get involved across all areas of our business.

We own a small hobby farm (eligible for farmstay visa extension) alongside an 18-room motor inn, a restaurant open 7 nights a week, and a popular locals’ bar. Our restaurant is busy for a small village—serving around 40–60 meals Sunday to Wednesday, and up to 80–140 meals from Thursday to Saturday. We offer a broad menu that works well for both our regulars and visitors, with a strong focus on making as much as possible in-house.

You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team in the kitchen and front of house, working alongside both local staff and international team members.

The role includes:
• Working approximately 30 hours per week (5 days/nights, including most weekends)
• Kitchen duties and assisting with motel room cleaning
• Occasional bar work
• Some gardening and general maintenance (if interested)

We also operate a small post office/café 4 days a week, and there are often additional work opportunities in the village on your days off.

What we offer:
• 28.00/hour (eligible for visa extension requirements)
• A staff meal (up to 32 value) on working nights
• Full access to the kitchen for your own meals outside work hours
• Accommodation in a motel room for 145/week (linen included)

We’re located in Jugiong, a small but well-positioned village just off the Hume Highway—roughly halfway between Canberra and Wagga, and about 3.5 hours from Sydney. As amenities are limited (nearest supermarket is 25 minutes away), having your own car is highly recommended.
