A wonderful opportunity to join a warm, professional family living in a quiet, family-friendly suburb of Melbourne’s west! This lovely family are welcoming their first Au Pair to help care for their gorgeous 12-month-old baby boy.

You’ll be providing approximately 35 hours per week of care, supporting his daily routine including feeding, changing, naps, play, and age-appropriate developmental activities such as reading, tummy time, walks in the pram, and encouraging crawling and walking. This role would suit someone confident with babies and happy to provide attentive, hands-on care. Light duties related to the child will also be included, such as tidying play areas and assisting with household tasks.

Both parents work professionally and spend some days working from home. The grandmother also lives in the home and helps with cooking and general support, and you’ll communicate with her about the daily care plan - making this a very supported placement.

The family live in a beautiful two-storey, five-bedroom home with multiple living areas, an outdoor space, and a pool. The suburb is peaceful and well-connected, with shopping centres, gyms, parks, schools, and public transport nearby. The train station is around a 10–15 minute walk, and Melbourne CBD is approximately 30 minutes away.

You’ll enjoy your own large, private master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, TV, and furnishings — a very comfortable setup.
The family also have a friendly German Shepherd dog, so this role would suit someone comfortable around dogs.

Melbourne is one of Australia’s most exciting and liveable cities — famous for its café culture, markets, arts scene, sport, and nearby beaches. This is a fantastic opportunity to experience city life while living in a calm suburban area.
