Lovely opportunity to join a warm, easygoing family living on a beautiful semi-rural property in DURAL in Sydney’s leafy north-west! Mum and Dad are both self-employed and are seeking their first Au Pair to help care for their active and curious 18 month old little boy.

Both parents will be home much of the time and are looking for someone who is happy to work collaboratively and help where needed throughout the day.

This would suit someone confident with toddlers who enjoys being part of a family environment while still having their own space and independence.

The family live on a large acreage property with plenty of indoor and outdoor space, including a big backyard, pool, and tennis court. You’ll enjoy your own private, spacious bedroom with a balcony and your own bathroom, making this a very comfortable and relaxed placement.

The main focus will be caring for their young son - engaging him in age-appropriate play and activities, supervising outdoor play, taking him for walks, preparing and offering simple meals or snacks, and supporting his daily routines. No heavy housework is required, however the family value someone who is naturally tidy, happy to help clear up together after meals, and assist occasionally with light tasks such as hanging laundry.

As a cultural exchange there is plenty of free time to explore

The family are multicultural and speak English at home, with additional languages spoken. They welcome Au Pairs from all backgrounds and no driving is required, and public transport is accessible, with support available when needed.

Kenthurst (near Dural) offers a peaceful, green lifestyle while still being well connected - approximately 40 minutes from Sydney CBD, close to major shopping centres, a direct train line to the city, and local bus services. It’s a wonderful balance of calm countryside living with access to city life.
