Casual Cook/chef

The North Freo Bowlo is in an exciting stage of growth, and we are looking for a Causal Chef or Cook to come on board to help us provide a food offering one night a week. This is the perfect role for anyone looking to add additional hours to their working week or re-enter back into the kitchen in a relaxed environment. This also a fantastic an opportunity to get creative with your cooking!

You must be available on Friday afternoon/evening each week.

The role:

6-7 hours a week.
Rate 38-40per hour depending on skills and experience
Plan, cost, order and prepare a simple but tasty offering for approx 50-60 covers each week on a Friday between 5-7pm.
Oversee and provide leadership to volunteers who assist with food service or cleaning.
Support the development of snack offerings available from the bar.
Maintain the cleanliness of the club’s kitchen, performing full clean producers down at the end of each service.
Follow all health and safety procedures to contribute to a safe working environment. Take corrective/preventative action and report any WHS issues to the club manager.
Follow all food and safety guidelines and educate volunteers to ensure food is prepped, cooked and stored safely.
About you:

You will have at least 3 years experiences chef or cook experience.

You will be clean and well presented.

You will be reliable and committed to adding to the community feel at the club.

You will enjoy creating different meals each week for our membership base. You will be able to work independently or within a team.

You will need to offer leadership to volunteers who will support you with either prep or service.
