Job Description
Based in the heart of town, the Newman Hotel offers full accommodation, dining and facilities to our guests. We are not like the usual services you might find in remote Western Australia and we pride ourselves on providing clean, modern facilities that are on-par with Perth metro standards.
We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Receptionist to join our team!
As part of your role, you will be:
* acting as the primary point of contact, providing a warm welcome, handling check-ins/check-outs, and managing reservations.
* processing payments
* managing bookings via phone or email, updating the hotel management system, and processing payments.
* Addressing guest inquiries and complaints in a polite and prompt manner
* coordinating with housekeeping to prioritize room cleaning and working with maintenance for any issues.
Essential Skills
* Clear verbal and written skills.
* Proficiency in office software.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* A polite, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Previous experience in customer service or a similar receptionist role is preferred.
