Gardening & Cleaning On An Animal Sanctuary

We are looking for volunteers who want to experience life on an Australian rescue hobby farm with a social atmosphere.

We can sign off on 88 days.

This is open to anyone living on or near the Sunshine Coast and wanting to commute a couple days per week to help out. Limited live in positions available.

Since 2017 we’ve welcomed over 150 backpackers to our beautiful rescue farm on the Sunshine Coast.

Tasks may include: Organic gardening, rescue animal care, general maintenance, handy work and cleaning.

We welcome anyone with enthusiasm regardless of experience.

All animals are residents and friends here to live out their lives into old age.

The property is close to Australia Zoo, national parks, bush walks, hiking mountains and swimming lakes. Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird world is a short drive away.

Sunshine coast beaches 30 minutes
Brisbane 1 hour
Noosa 1 hour

Feel free to harvest and eat anything from the gardens.

A car is useful to have out here as there is no public transport or shops nearby (15min by car to town).

We often have farm camp fires, play board games and do trips to the beach/activities on the coast.

We are searching for team members available to start early May with the possibility to stay longer if everything goes well.
