Amazing opportunity to join a warm, creative family living in the beautiful Macedon Ranges region of Victoria! Mum is a musician and workshop facilitator and is looking for a caring and flexible Au Pair to help care for her energetic and imaginative 3-year-old son.
This role will involve approximately 25–35 hours per week, with a mix of household support during the day and shared childcare in the afternoons and evenings. You’ll spend lots of time playing, exploring outdoors, helping with simple meals and supporting daily routines. There may also be occasional opportunities for solo childcare so Mum can attend classes or work commitments. Flexibility will be appreciated, as the role may occasionally include travel within Australia for creative workshops and music camps.
The family live on a beautiful property surrounded by protected forest and nature. The home is spacious and warm with a fireplace and open-plan living areas, and the property includes walking tracks, a swimming dam, gardens, chickens and plenty of outdoor space to explore. You’ll have your own comfortable private bedroom at the opposite end of the home, offering privacy and personal space.
The area is known for its vibrant arts community and beautiful countryside. Nearby towns such as Woodend and Kyneton offer cafés, supermarkets, vintage shops and cultural events, and there is regular train access to Melbourne City (around one hour). It’s a fantastic location for someone who enjoys nature, creativity and community living while still being close to a major city.
