Photoshoot Assistant (redfern Studio)

We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic, people-loving Photoshoot Assistant to join our team in our brand new Redfern studio.

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience in a fast-growing photography business and be part of a fun, supportive team. There is also potential for ongoing, full-time work for the right person.

The details:
• Casual position — 1 to 3 days per week
• Must be available at least one weekend day each week (Saturday or Sunday, 9am–5pm)
• Starting ASAP
• 30 - 40 per hour
• About POP! — We’re a fast-growing photography studio specialising in modelling portfolios and acting headshots for all ages

What you’ll be doing:
• Welcoming clients and helping them feel comfortable and confident before their shoot
• Supporting the photographer throughout the day to keep sessions running smoothly
• Offering basic styling guidance so clients look and feel their best on camera
• Keeping the studio organised, tidy, and running on time
• Jumping in where needed — from client experience to sales and social media

What we’re looking for:
• Someone outgoing, reliable, and genuinely great with people
• Previous face-to-face customer service experience
• Positive, warm energy — the kind that puts nervous clients instantly at ease
• An interest in photography, styling, digital marketing, sales, or the creative industry
• Proactive, able to take initiative without needing to be told what to do
• A strong desire to learn and grow
