About the Role – Duty Manager /2IC (Free Accommodation Provided)

We are currently seeking a motivated individual with strong Food & Beverage Operations and Administration capabilities to support all departments and work closely with the General Manager. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across accommodation, F&B, ski hire, housekeeping, and guest services.

Key Responsibilities
Rostering and daily operational oversight
Delivering outstanding customer service and resolving guest issues
Managing inventory and stock control
Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, licensing, and safety standards
Supporting and running on‑site events
Assisting with financial processes and reporting
Leading, training, and supporting staff across multiple departments
Handling conflict resolution professionally and promptly
Shared after‑hours phone assistance
Leading shift teams and overseeing venue setup, service, and pack‑down
Processing guest check‑ins/outs, payments, and enquiries
Using front office and hotel management systems effectively
Working across rotating rosters including nights, weekends, and public holidays
Monitoring security, guest safety, and operational profitability
Proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure an exceptional guest experience

About You
Minimum 2+ years' experience in Food & Beverage, Front Office, or Management
Experience must include both Food & Beverage and management roles
Strong experience using reservation and hotel operating systems
Minimum 1+ years hands-on experience with reservation and hotel operating systems
Excellent time‑management and organisational skills
Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑department environment
Hands‑on approach with strong administrative and reporting capability
Brings ideas, initiative, and a proactive mindset
Must hold a current RSA certificate
