Gardening And Maintenance All-rounder

We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join the team. The position will be a casual role for approximately 3 months to assist our gardening and maintenance team.

The successful applicant will undertake general landscaping activities, including but not limited to fine landscape detailing/grading, mulching, rock pitching, tree and shrub planting, preparation of soil and laying of turf, as detailed within company work instructions. Follow all safety policies, job practices and PPE requirements as required.

Roles and responsibilities will include: (not limited to)
Planting & irrigation
Preparing and maintaining gardens
Using various types of equipment
Promoting safe work practices in a team environment

About you:
The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:
Physically fit and self-motivated
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Must have a valid driver’s license
Previous experience is highly regarded though not required
Demonstrates reliability and punctuality
Adaptability to a changing environment as per the demands of the business
Basic oral and written literacy and numeracy skills
Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety
