House Sitter(s) Required Mid June To Mid July 30 Min From Brisbane

Hello Fellow Backpackers,

We are looking for a responsible person or couple to come stay and look after our home, animals, business and property MID JUNE TO MID JULY 2025

You will
- spend a week with us (staying in our caravan) learning the property (2.5 acres) and where everything is (early MID JUNE)

While we are away you would move into the main house and be responsible for:
- maintaining the main house in a clean and orderly fashion
- feeding the chickens and the cat and the snake ;)
- doing some light gardening like watering the plants and doing a bit of weeding
- doing some more serious property cleanup 3 x week (3 hrs a day) - picking up twigs, weeding, power washing outside
- have the house clean and linen exchanged for our arrival back home
- you would buy and cook your own food

We have a regular cleaner however we may consider having you flip our 2 guesthouses on the property (depending on your experience and attention to detail):
This would be paid work and would involve:
- cleaning and resetting the guesthouses between guests
- doing laundry of the linen and towels
- restocking inventory
- maintaining the gardens and outdoor areas to a high standard of cleanliness

Additionally, on the weekend, we have events on the property which will be PAID for set up and clean up
- Prepare the outdoor area
- Prepare a fire and coal bbq
- Event runs from 4-5 hours during which you are not required
- You would then clean up and reset the outdoor area for next event.

And if you drive, we would love a drop off and pick up from the Brisbane Airport.

We also have a car you can use if you stay with us.

By no means do you need to be at the house the entire time, you are welcome to go explore the Gold Coast, Sunshine coast etc as long as you don't stay away for more than 2 nights at a time.
