Chef – Alice Springs (NT DAMA Pathway Available)

Join an exciting new venue in Alice Springs! We are looking for a qualified Chef to help our kitchen operations, maintain high food standards, and drive our daily service.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook high-quality menu items to precise standards.

Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control.

Manage stock control, inventory ordering, and minimize kitchen waste.

Supervise, train, and mentor casual cooks and kitchenhands to ensure a smooth workflow.

Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene (HACCP), and workplace health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Relevant trade qualification (AQF Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).

Proven commercial kitchen experience.

Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Must meet the minimum English language requirements required under the NT DAMA framework (if seeking sponsorship).
