Max Watts is an iconic underground live music venue in the heart of Melbourne Naarm.
From metal and punk to burlesque, drag, rock and underground techno, our venue has always been about giving people a space to feel welcome, expressive and safe. That applies just as much to our staff as it does our patrons.
We are proudly inclusive and queer friendly, and we value people who are respectful, open minded and thrive in fast paced nightlife environments. No two weeks here are the same and neither are the shows.
We welcome working holiday visa holders and travellers looking to experience Melbourne's live music scene from the inside.
We are on the lookout for bar and bussie legends to join the Max Watts crew. If you thrive in fast paced live music environments, can hold it down in a busy room, and don’t mind the chaos that comes with underground shows, we want to hear from you. Experience is great but attitude is everything, we can teach the rest.
