We want sous chefs who will back their abilities and want to show us how good they can be. We don't do things in the normal manner so here is your chance to come and shine! With over 10 years in the industry and multiple awards we know how to make a coastal location work. The Fig has an exciting chef development program including mentoring by head chef to achieve your career aims and focus, trips to produce suppliers to get back to the source of the produce we serve & mentoring in managing and getting the most out of your team and people you manage
The successful sous chef applicants should have:
- at least 3 year experience working within a fully equipped Commercial Kitchen
- Trade Certification
- x2 Contactable References
- Passion for food and creative flair
- Solid food knowledge
- A great smile
What we need from our sous:
- Be a little bit wacky
- Like learning and teaching
- Want to climb the ladder
- enjoy full time hospitality hours
Holiday Visa applicants will still be considered, if you have sweet sweet skills you will be given the chance to be considered for further sponsorship to stay in this beautiful country.
