Hi, we live on a cattle station 100km north west of Hughenden in sunny QLD.
We are looking for a friendly, happy, mature person to assist our 7 year old son with his school work. He is doing Distance education so you will need to be able to work through the guide books with him and complete the necessary tasks as set out by his teacher. Teaching experience is ideal but not essential.This is 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. He does Maths, English, Spelling and Handwriting. Science, history and geography alternate during the year. Some times you may be required to look after our 3 year old twin girls for a couple of hours also.
Outside of school hours we would love for you to be able to have some farm experience, cattle, horses etc. should you be interested in this.
Pay is $250 for the 1st week, then we will negotiate a higher wage, tax, super, based on your experience, work ethic etc.Your food, board, phone, etc is all provided free of charge to you. You will have your own private accomodation and be expected to cook for yourself and keep the accomodation clean and tidy at all times. Please be aware that Internet is limited, and there is no mobile service on the property, the closest town is 1 hour away.
We would love if you could stay until December.
This position does not count toward a 2nd year visa unfortunately.
