Volunteer At Our Kangaroo Sanctuary

Horizons Kangaroo Sanctuary Agnes Water, Bundaberg

Job Description

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH VARIOUS JOBS.

At Horizons we are concerned and dedicated to the plight of animals, especially Australian Natives so you must be an animal lover. We have been rehabilitating and releasing orphaned joeys for many years but have decided to slow down over the past few years.

Our sanctuary is on 10 acres so there are many jobs that require doing such as helping in the gardens, pruning mango trees, painting and anything else that may pop up. I have a bad back so also require help with housework sometimes.

We have separate accommodation for volunteers. We would prefer a couple or a couple of friends but will consider singles or others if the exchange is right. We would prefer a stay of 2 weeks (more if you want to stay).

Agnes Water is a beautiful small coastal town located between Bundaberg and Gladstone. We are the southern most point of the Great Barrier Reef, the beaches here are beautiful and pristine. Our property is located on 10 acres about 10 minutes from town .

We cannot sign off on 2nd year visa

Volunteer accommodation is away from the house and we do not have public wifi so you need to organise your own internet connection.
