We are seeking a registered nurse to join the team. You must have a good understanding of general practice, and current experience working in the primary care setting. Our preference is that you also continue working in primary care, maintaining a working knowledge of clinical issues and challenges presenting to your peers.
Purpose of the role:
The Clinical Facilitator is a registered nurse who is responsible at an advanced level for the design, implementation and assessment of nursing and non-nursing education and development programs that are delivered or supported in the work environment. The position provides expertise relating to education, training and staff development issues and directions.
The facilitator uses high level contemporary clinical nursing knowledge and skills to support clinical teaching and learning activities while working collaboratively with the Nurse Unit manager, Nurse Educators, Clinical Nurses and Preceptors to achieve unit/department goals.
Medical Staff is looking for facilitators in the following areas
To be successful –
• Clinical Facilitator experience not necessary but can be an added advantage if experienced.
• Registered Nurse with Current Registration
• You must have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to
develop relationships with a wide variety of people
• You must have experience interpreting quantitative information and conveying this in an appropriate manner.
• Your written work must be of excellent standard and you will be very attentive to detail. You must ideally have experience in adult education and you will be enthusiastic and passionate about improving healthcare and keeping abreast of the most recent evidence.
• MUST HAVE VALID VISA!!
