GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR BACKPACKERS LOOKING TO EXPLORE TASMANIA'S SOUTH WEST WILDERNESS.
Pedder Wilderness Lodge are looking for individuals who are willing to work for up to 4 hours a day in return for food and accommodation. This a great opportunity for individuals who want to explore the stunning south west wilderness of Tasmania.
We are located in Tasmania’s largest national park. Along with its stunning natural beauty, the park holds a range of activities such as kayaking, bush walking, abseiling and so much more.
The nature of the work would be assisting our housekeeping team and doing general odd jobs and maintenance around the property.
The work will be unpaid, but in return for your efforts we will provide accommodation at Pedder Wilderness Lodge and three meals a day.
We can provide transport to and from Hobart, but we require individuals to stay for a minimum of 5 days.
As a reward for your efforts, we will offer anyone who stays with us for a week the opportunity to abseil the Gordon Dam. This is the world’s highest commercial abseil and this activity is normally valued at $250. As an added bonus you will have access to all of the lodge’s facilities: Heated indoor pool, Gym, Kayaks and Boats all free of charge.
Not a backpacker? That's ok. We accept applications from Australian citizens, permanent residents, international students as well as working holiday visa holders. If you are qualified for this position, please register and apply via the form below.
