Starting ASAP and for at least 3 months, a remote cattle station near Port Hedland is looking for a fit person for outdoors work. It's getting hot up north, so applicants must be capable of working in the heat!
Duties will include cattle mustering, general station duties and fencing. This person will also be required to dismantle and erect portable cattle yards that involve lifting 20 kg panels.
Please note there is quite a lot of fencing and maintenance work that will be done between musters.
We prefer applicants who have:
- Experience working with livestock (cattle)
- Excellent English
- Ability to ride road motorbikes for mustering
- A valid drivers license
- Ability to work in a team environment
Please note that this station has limited internet and mobile signal.
Pay rate is $21/hour and accommodation and meals are provided for free.
This job will count for visa extension for people on 417 and 462 visas!
