Swansea RSL Sub Branch situated on the sunny east coast of Tasmania is looking for a qualified cook to take on the management of our Bistro.
Situated at Swansea and part of the long established RSL Club you will have full use of a well appointed commercial kitchen and 60 seat Bistro.
Currently serving meals on Friday and Saturday evening only but there is scope to open for dinner and lunch on other days if you want. October to April is a very busy time and Swansea is visited by many local, interstate and international visitors during this busy time.
You will be providing home style meals for an affordable price in a family friendly club.
The kitchen is well appointed and has large gas oven and 4 burner top with an integrated grill, two deep fryers, glass fronted fridges and freezers, ducted industrial hood over stoves, Bain Marie, stainless steel work benches, aircon and all kitchen equipment and implements and crockery etc is provided. You will have full use of the facilities to manage and run - the Club will charge a nominal amount for rental of the Bistro - electricity is included as well.
You will have current qualifications relevant to the role and will need to enter into a Licence to operate with the RSL State Branch.
