Who are Happy Travels?

Happy Travels are Australia’s fastest growing backpacker travel agency, we have 5 stores in prime locations around Byron Bay with a dynamic team of over 30 employees.

We are looking for exciting, motivated individuals who can become part of our friendly sales team for the next 6 months or more.

About the Job...

In this job you will be fully trained on how to sell EPIC backpacker adventure tours to destinations in Australia, NZ & Fiji so travel experience in these place is preferred (but not essential)

We require someone who has a big personality, highly motivated & loves working as part of a team!

The pay rate is $31 per hour on weekdays and $37 - $43 on weekends. We have a great bonus structure for top performers and free trips on offer for those who meet sales targets. All training is fully paid & takes place in our Byron Bay head office.

This is a casual position but full time hours are available for consistent performers.
We currently have 2 roles available;

- Inbound Online Travel Sales & Customer Service
- In-store Australia & New Zealand Travel Sales Specialist

What do you need to apply? (These are preferred but not essential) >>
• 5/6 months minimum left on working holiday visa OR Permanent residency in Australia
•Must be fluent in English speaking, reading & writing
•Experience in Sales, Promotion, fundraising, marketing, recruitment or events (preferred)
•East Coast experience is a bonus (Fraser Island, Whitsundays, Skydive, Barrier Reef)
•A positive, can-do attitude & the ability to work well as part of a team
•Additional fluent languages are a bonus such as German, Swedish etc...
