Customer Service Officer

Rushcutters Bay Tennis Centre & Kiosk is situated 10 mins from the CBD of Sydney. The centre consists of 5 tennis courts and a small cafe.


We are looking for a reliable, honest and flexible worker to assist us in our day to day operations of the centre. You will require a minimum level of hospitality experience as you will need to know how to make barista quality coffees and basic food preparations.


Due to the tennis you will also have to make court bookings, take phone calls, provide information to customers and onsell tennis programs as part of the role. Therefore if you have worked in the sports industry then it will be highly regarded in your application.


You must be able to speak fluent English and be able to read and write due to the small amount of admin work required. You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate both face to face and through the phone.


There is also the ability to handle cash and make purchase transactions. Therefore having experience in cash handling face to face will be highly regarded.


We are prepared to hire travellers but you must be available for a minimum of 6 months with no expected holidays in between. We will train you on our Point of Sales system and court booking system but we'd like the successful applicant to be available for this amount of time.


Currently we only have five shifts available on Monday 3pm-8pmpm, Thursday from 3pm-10pm, Friday 3pm-8pm, Saturday 1:30pm-8pm, Sunday 1pm-8pm but there is a strong chance that more shifts will become available once you start with us. There are extra shifts on the weekend so we would prefer the successful applicant to be available both Saturday and Sunday.
