Au Pair

We require an au pair from February 2018. Looking for six months or more. Couples will be considered.

In the heart of the Goulburn Valley, we have a brand new house just outside of Shepparton. William (Wil) needs a big brother or sister.

I work a rotating roster and Wil goes to an after school program so you will have plenty of time off. On days when I work the morning shift you will only have to take him to school. Night shifts you will pick him up from after school care, make yourselves dinner, and put him to bed. When I work a weekend you will be busy, but those are expected to be 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 and have plenty of time to yourself to compensate. I also get one week off on this roster, so there's a whole week you'll be free to do whatever you want.

I usually take one week off every school holidays so you will have a whole week to explore Victoria by yourself or you can come along with us on whatever trip we're taking that week off. We usually take a trip to the cinema once every month or two, and go out for dinner once or twice a week (work roster dependent) and you'll be joining us for these fun events or have a night to yourself if you prefer.

I also have a friend from Melbourne (Krystal) who spends a few days at the end of the week with us so she can work in town who will help you.

You will have your own room, internet access, Foxtel and Netflix access. After June you will also have a room with its own ensuite after Krystal's contract at a local school expires.

You must have experience looking after children. A licence is a must. Experience with special needs (autism) would be appreciated but not essential as Wil is quite easy going.

William is almost 10 and attends a special needs school.

$200 per week, 75 hours over three weeks (including a week off, still paid).
