Horgans was established over 40 years ago and is a respected importer and wholesaler of quality furniture, lighting and décor accessories to retailers, interior designers, property stylists, commercial and major event businesses throughout Australia.
The key focus of this role is to assist the Creative Director to design, maintain and manage the creative displays for all our showrooms, external & trade events.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Merchandising of a large wholesale showroom/s
Assist with the design, merchandising, set up and bump out at major national trade fairs and events
Assist with the styling of product photo shoots
Co-ordination and execution of direct marketing campaigns
Co-ordination and update of social media content (mainly Instagram and Facebook)
Essential skills and experience:
Flair & experience within the artistic and/or design industries
Passion for visual merchandising
Sound computer literacy skills including Microsoft Excel
Strong verbal and written English
Good drawing and design abilities
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to work in a physical capacity and at a fast pace
Experience with ‘Mailchimp’ an advantage
Availability for travel to assist with local and interstate events, and merchandising of interstate showroom
Drivers Licence an advantage
