Job Description
Duties will include all tasks associated with running 10,000 merino sheep, such as:
- Crutching
- Drenching
- General farm maintenance
- Feeding out with a tractor
- Possibly helping with seeding if applicants have good machinery skills
Applicants must have the following skills and abilities:
- Previous experience working with livestock
- Good physical fitness level
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Easygoing and flexible attitude
- Strong English
- Drivers license
Own vehicle is preferred, but we will consider applicants with good skills who do not have their own car.
Pay rate is $22/hour and work hours are usually 7.30 - 5pm 5 days per week.
Accommodation is provided at the local pub, as well as a cooked meal each night (up to $20 value). The pub is located 30 minute from the farm.
This job will count for visa extension.
