Gardening Help Needed In Exchange For Full Board - Suit Couple With Car

Welcome to Brisbane.

WHO WE ARE: Our names are Deborah and Paul. We both work full time and are very proud parents of three children, plus a super-friendly Groodle dog named Barclay. We also have a lovely German au-pair whom helps us with the children and the house.

WHAT WE OFFER:
- We have a beautiful, traditional old house called a “Queenslander” on 10 acres in Upper Brookfield, which is around 40 minutes from Brisbane City via car (25 kms). The house has a spectacular view of Brisbane
- It is surrounded by natural bushland and features many native Australian animals like kangaroos and wallabies, possums, parrots and (unfortunately very rarely) koalas.
- You would have our spare room with a double bed
- You would share a lounge room (featuring a TV, couch, WiFi) and bathroom with our aupair.
- You would be able to take advantage of our swimming pool and tennis court when you are not working.
- We would also provide all meals, bed linen, and towels for you.

WHAT WE NEED:
- A couple, or alternatively a stronger man (there is only one double bed available) to provide help in our garden.
- You would need to have a car.
- We would ask that you provide 4 hours work per day, 5 days per week. We are flexible and are happy for you to work for full days up front and then enjoy the rest of the week off to explore Brisbane.
- You need to be able to work well on your own and take the initiative to complete the work around the house and garden. You are also organised and clean.
- Non vegans (too hard for me to prepare food!)
- Help with:
o Weeding the large garden beds
o Mulching the garden beds
o Mowing the lawn
o Whipper snipping / brush cutting
o Pruning
o Staking up small shrubs with wooden stakes
o Spraying the large drive way with weed killer
