Job Description
Chef wanted for Club in Kakadu.
you'll be preparing, cooking and creating delicious hearty meals for our clientele. We're a small team, so we all pitch in where required, and you may be required.
Some of the main duties are:
•Preparing and cooking delicious meals
•Stock take and weekly ordering
•Following set standards for portion sizes, presentation etc
•Participating in developing the menu in collaboration with others on the team
•Following all set processes
•Customer Service
•Maintaining and Cleaning Kitchen and at times Bistro area.
The successful applicant will:
•Be a confident cook with experience cooking in a commercial environment
•Genuinely enjoy hospitality and providing a great experience for customers
•Be organised and systematic in your approach
•Maintain an organised workspace
•Provide warm and engaging customer service
•Work well in a team and contribute to a positive team culture
•Have a positive can-do attitude and be willing to pitch in wherever
•Be reliable and punctual
•Present well at all times
